After many meetings and careful deliberation, the Alabama Marching Championship Committee has announced that this year’s event will be held at Spain Park High School on Saturday, October 25th. While the original plan called for two separate sites (Spain Park on October 25 and Jacksonville State University on November 1), the number of bands registered was not enough to sustain two full contests. In addition, more of the bands that had registered were available to participate on October 25. By combining into one championship event, there were enough bands to sustain the competition.This year, Spain Park High School will now serve as the single site for the championship, bringing together the largest number of participating bands on one date. The Alabama Marching Championships look forward to showcasing outstanding performances from across the state in one central location, uniting students, directors, and fans for an exciting day of music and pageantry.
